Meridian —
Founding Marketing
New York · Full-time · In-person
We created Meridian to address the tremendous misallocation of labor across professional services. We operate as the institutional memory layer for consulting firms.
This is the first marketing hire at Meridian. The job is to figure out how Meridian gets known by every managing partner in top-tier consulting, and then go do it. There's no playbook to follow and no team to inherit. You build it.
What you'd do
Write the things people read. Long-form pieces on what's changing in consulting, customer case studies, launch posts, the home page. The voice is yours.
Pick the channels and own them. LinkedIn, the events partners actually go to, the publications they read on the weekend. We don't need to be everywhere. We need to be in the right three places, executed well.
Run launches end-to-end. When engineering ships something, you own the announcement, the email, the demo video, the landing page, the social. No handoffs.
Sit in on customer calls. The best things we publish are 80% things customers said to us first. You hear it first and turn it into the next post, case study, or campaign.
What we're looking for
You've run marketing or comms at an early-stage company, or you came from strategy, consulting, or banking and want to build a brand instead of writing decks about other people's.
You can write. Specific, plain, no buzzwords. Send us things you've actually published.
You can look at a competitor launch, our home page, or a draft tweet and tell us specifically why it's working or why it isn't.
You ship fast. We're putting multiple things in front of customers every week. Marketing keeps up or it falls behind.
To apply
Email careers@trymeridian.dev with your resume, one piece of writing you're proud of, and a launch or campaign you ran end-to-end - what worked, what didn't, what you'd do differently.
